this leads to them looking at birth files from the hospital where they are from and they find that the days are missing. They later speak over the situation and try to find out what caused him to be born with his power. after all that he notices that taylor had seen the whole thing and he runs away before she can ask anything. after leaving his first detention he gets attacked by those kids from earlier and he uses his ability for the first time to protect him self.
He ends up getting the punishment and has to deal after school detentions for 2 weeks. The story starts off by Michael being pushed into a locker by a few people that would appear again in a bit. hes trying to capture them so he can find out what powers they have and what gave it to them so that he can create more kids like them to join him and possibly make an army. when they resist to come he takes precautionary measures to make sure that they do so.
He’s wanting Taylor and Michael to join him since they are the last two he has to find. Hatch is the main antagonist of the story along side the other kids who have electric powers. Then theres the antagonist which consist of mainly one person since theyre the ones controlling everything but he has people helping him. they don’t really play a role until the end of the book where they help Michael, Taylor and ostin. There are some electric kids who disobeyed hatch and are in a dungeon to pay for their actions of not wanting to possibly hurt or maybe kill someone. Ostin is Michaels best friend who also attends the same school as them although he doesnt have powers himself he is smarter than most of the people at his age. Taylor is a 14 year old girl who attends the same school as Michael and Ostin and has shared to them that she has electric powers as well and demonstrates them she is also on the cheerleading team. His mom works a low end job where she is earning less than she should be considering she has gone to college and gotten her degree. Michael is a 14 year old boy who was born with electric powers who moved from Pasadena to Ohio in an attempt to protect themselves. The four protagonist in this book is Michael, his mom, Taylor and his friend ostin. A small part of it is the transition into Pasadena from ohio. A majority of the story takes place in Ohio while the last 100 pages are in Pasadena. The story for this book takes place in two places Ohio and Pasadena.
